More Important Camp Details
The newSTAR Rugby Academy will provide a two day rugby camp on the Sunshine Coast to provide young players with access to elite level coaching. Head Coach and Wallaby legend Toutai Kefu will oversee a program designed to assist young players in the development of the broad range of skills required in the modern game and just as importantly up skilling in position specific areas that make Rugby such a unique team game.
Camp Check-in: First day at 8.30am
Camp Hours are: 9.00am - 3.00pm each day.
Camp Check-out: There will be a graduation presentation at 2.00pm on the final day of camp. Parents are strongly encouraged to be there!
There is an option for a food package for $25, campers are able to purchase this at the canteen. They will need to pay on the day. However if not, campers are required to bring lunch/snacks/water.
Camp will be going ahead despite weather conditionings as modified programs will be put into place if required.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers once they have signed up. The Sports Camps Australia health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
Sunshine Coast Brother is located at the Stockland Sports Stadium Sunshine coast on Kawana Way. The Complex has access to recovery, gym and exercise physiology equipment. An outdoor facility that is used for a number of national and senior youth championships in Rugby, League and Oztag.
