Glendinning named 2019 ABL Rookie of the Year!

After an exceptional season Robbie Glendinning has been awarded the Brut ABL Rookie of the Year.

Glendinning, 23, did not appear in Heat colours until round four, but instantly added a spark to Perth's already potent offence.

Perth Heat Manager Andy Kyle said Glendinning had come a long way in the last 12 months.

"Robbie really nailed down a key spot for us in the middle of the lineup, and his at-bats in the second half of the season were really impressive.

Glendinning credits his improvement to his time playing Pro-ball in the US.

"The positive year in pro-ball really boosted my confidence," Glendinning said.

"I want to improve consistently, and the ABL gives me a chance to do that.

"The ABL gives me a chance to test myself against some high-level talent, as well as play meaningful baseball games with some of my closest mates."

Congratulations Robbie!
