Basketball: Essentials guide

When playing or training for basketball follow this guide to ensure you have the essentials!


  • Water- Don’t forget a water bottle to ensure you stay hydrated, especially during a tough game

  • Shoes – find appropriate basketball shoes that provide support and comfort

  • Slides – keep your basketball shoes for the basketball court, slides allow you to quickly change in and out of your shoes

  • Ball – bring a ball you are comfortable with using for training days.

  • Bag – Your bag should be able to fit all the essentials including a towel and shoes

  • Clothing – wear appropriate basketball attire that allows you to move freely.
