Warming up for BMX

Before you hit the track complete the following warm ups to help prevent injures and help increase performance.


  • Twist and rotate your wrist and ankles in both directions to loosen up the muscles and ligaments

  • Do 3 x 10 rounds of star jumps to bring up your heart rate and warm up your muscles

  • Do some yoga and stretch out your body, especially your legs and back.

  • Then hop on your bike, ride around lightly on a flat surface to get the pedals moving.

  • Once you’re done get ready to hit the track!
