Soccer is a fun and safe sport for all ages. Here is a quick guide to the basic gear that you need to get started.
Soccer cleats – cleats provide stability and support during soccer, especially when doing quick sharp movements
Shin Guards – Soccer is a contact sport, shin guard help reduce the chance of injury to the shin, an area that is most likely to be injured during soccer.
Water bottle – It is important to stay hydrated during both training and game play. Get a sports water bottle that is easy to drink from and holds at least 500ml of water.
Clothing – Ensure you have the appropriate socks (must cover shin guards), sport shorts and a sport t-shirt.
