Just getting started with Mountain Biking? Follow these tips and you’ll be a pro in no time.
Clothing – Ensure you have comfortable and appropriate clothing. You don’t need to go all out and purchase a full bike kit. Start with a helmet, gloves and some padded shorts for extra comfort. Once you get the hang of things, upgrade to a full kit!
Bike – Make sure you’re comfortable on your bike. Head to your local bike shop to be fitted with a bike.
Essential Techniques – Practice the basics such as riding on the flat, descending, climbing, and cornering.
Where- Find your closest mountain biking track – a green trail is the easiest, so start there and work your way up!
